My little one has been taking several steps for about 6w now but won’t actually walk unless your in front of him and encourage him to come to you

My little boy was the same and the past week he’s still crawling 70% of the time but he’s started to get up and walk to toy to toy and sometimes room to room of his own back. X

Our girl is the same, just takes steps when we encourage her or if we are holding her hand, otherwise crawls still

My boy was the same. He took first steps and that was all he seemed interested in for a few months (about 2 - 3 months i think). When practising one day he went back and forth between me and his dad a few times and suddenly it was like something clicked. He decided it was a game and wanted to go back and forth between us all day long. After a day of that we started going further apart and in just a few days he went from only doing first steps/cruising to walking the entire room back and forth between us. The day after that he had the confidence to walk to somewhere other than me or dad. Now he's practically running around everywhere and doesn't keep still. He literally walked off on his own across the grass when we were having a picnic in the park 😳

Hospital bag (UK)

What did everyone pack for their section? I'm staying in for 3 days due to mental health, not really sure what I'll need to bring, feeling very nervous. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Labour

Think im a bit confused really, i went into traige as was having contractions eveey 3-5mins. Since being here im now having them every 2-3mins which was confirmed with the machine and i think the toco was 90-100 and they feel painful and my lower back is in loads of pain but apparently im only just over 2cm dilated maybe, she has said i can stay here for a bit longer to see if things progress as had a previous quick birth as well but i dont understand why the pains are coming this quick if im only 2cm dilated and feel a bit deflated from it also.

I had a sweep this morning also.

C section trauma ?

Is it a thing to be traumatised by a c section delivery? I’m 4 weeks pp after having an emergency c section. I won’t go into the ins and outs to what got me there 😂
Nothing went wrong in the surgery at all, it was just incredibly intense, overwhelming and scary, but luckily my baby was delivered safe!
However I’m finding my birth experience quite difficult to even think about and when I do, I feel a horrid gut wrenching feeling, my heart aches and I just uncontrollably cry! My body feels really alien to me, like it’s not my own and I just feel really let down.
