Does your partner pretend to be asleep so they don’t have to help/ engage with family?

Not that he doesn’t do anything but I kid you not after I finished spending hours meal prepping and cleaning. I just go in to show him something, he answers then immediately puts his phone down and closes his eyes 🤯like what you’re asleep now?

20 minutes later, I hear him on his phone 😒 I go in like “were you pretending to go to sleep so we (baby and I) wouldn’t come in here”? Like WTF I’m not coming to drop the baby on you- although I have her all day it wouldn’t hurt to spend some time with her and give me a break.
“He was like I wasn’t pretending I am tired”

Whatevs, I didn’t say you weren’t tired I said pretending to sleep- which he so was.

Odd behavior from an adult man. The only thing I can think of is maybe he’s depressed? Otherwise that’s pretty manipulative behavior

Which ideaology do you wish would disappear?

1. Toys have genders
2. Breastfeeding past 1 year is just for the Mum
3. Boys don't cry
4. You can sleep train a newborn

Couldn't fit an option for all of them

Changing diaper

I have a question.. do y’all change your babies diapers during nap time while being out? My baby fell asleep and needs a diaper change.. but he struggled to fall asleep and I feel so bad waking him up to change his diaper because I know he won’t fall back asleep

I’m lost

My daughter turns 6 months soon and will not stop crying. She has NEVERRR been like this at all. I put her down, she cries, I hold her, she cries. I am so tired and slowly going insane. I don’t know why she’s so sad. She doesn’t want a bottle, she doesn’t want to play and she doesn’t want to sleep. Someone please tell me this is normal or if I should take her to a doctor

Am I wrong for not covering up while breastfeeding in my own house?

I am a single mom who is breastfeeding. When I’m in public, yeah I cover up because that’s my personal preference. But when I am at home alone, I am just fully top exposed. No care in the world.

Well my soon to be ex husband came waltzing in unannounced. No heads up or nothing. (No he don’t live there anymore) as soon as he walks in, he sees me topless breastfeeding our new born son. As soon as he sees, he says, “wtf is wrong with you? I don’t wanna see that shit. Cover up!” I had no idea he was coming over. Otherwise I would’ve covered up. But yet again, it’s my house. You didn’t tell me you were coming through. So if you don’t like what you see, there’s the door. Am I wrong for not covering up while breastfeeding in my own house?

Do you think incognito posts making assumptions or comments about breastfeeding are just trying to take digs at breastfeeding Mums?

Like I'm talking about present and past posts, for instance the one where they said it's weird to breastfeed a 1-2 year old or talking about Mums being addicted to breastfeeding... Yadda yadda yadda. Do you think they do that to try and slyly take digs at Mums who breastfeed?

Really fussy and upset baby. Please tell me it gets better?!

Hey, my 11 week old is a fussy baby from day one. He has his good moments but generally cries a lot, doesn’t like change and is a sensitive soul. I find it really hard to leave the house with him. He’s showing signs of regulating better and tolerating things however, the past 3 days he has just constantly cried and is fighting all of his naps. He usually loves contact napping on me but lately he fights it and only sleeps for about 15-20 minutes. He has also been getting distracted during feeds.

I think he’s currently in the third leap but please tell me it gets better?! Especially those who have had fussy/alert babies. Do they settle and become happy & relaxed babies? 😵‍💫
