Hey, my 11 week old is a fussy baby from day one. He has his good moments but generally cries a lot, doesn’t like change and is a sensitive soul. I find it really hard to leave the house with him. He’s showing signs of regulating better and tolerating things however, the past 3 days he has just constantly cried and is fighting all of his naps. He usually loves contact napping on me but lately he fights it and only sleeps for about 15-20 minutes. He has also been getting distracted during feeds.
I think he’s currently in the third leap but please tell me it gets better?! Especially those who have had fussy/alert babies. Do they settle and become happy & relaxed babies? 😵💫

Might sound a bit far fetched but my daughter has a cows milk allergy and it caused her to be like this! But then she also spat up a lot after feeds and had pretty bad eczema along with it.
Other than that though fussiness and being distracted is so normal!

My third was a bit like this… up until 12wks she would just cry from about 4pm-10pm and nothing would settle her. Then it was like a light switched from 12wks and we saw massive improvements. My older 2 were so easy.. and I really struggled with this. She’s 2yrs now and a happy little girl ☺️

My 10 week old is like this. We switched him to a hypoallergenic formula almost 2 weeks ago because we suspected CMPA but nothing really has changed. We also saw a new pediatrician who started him on reflux meds almost a week ago. We’re trying everything to figure out why he cries all the time and trying to make him comfortable. Hard to say if any of it is working but he has been flashing us more smiles during his few chill moments, which he only did before while sleeping, but still crying and fussy most of the day. I know it’ll get better for us eventually & I know it will for you too! But it is extremely hard. I just want my baby to be happy too! I hope it gets better soon! 🫶🏼

Mine was like this, she had bad reflux and cried ALOT. It got better around 3 months, ish. She’s still hard work though (9 months now) and is very alert and busy baby.. I’m just thankful I have a clever and bright baby. Mother hood is soo hard. You’ve got this 🫶🏻
