should I be worried?

Guys I’m struggling! I know all babies develop at different rates but should I be concerned? My boy is 15 months and is some ways he’s smashing it and in other ways he seems very behind! He can count to 10, started doing his abcs and can say alot of words, but he can’t say mama and Dosent use dada meaningfully, he can’t clap or wave but can walk, point and has started feeding himself, he can tell me
What noises alot of animals make and what they are but he 9 times out of 10 dosent answer to his name, but he will bring me books and toys and sit and read and play with me and struggles ALOT with food, it’s a struggle to get food in him most days but other days! At what point should I be worried!

My boy is 17 months old and he’s also really bad with food sometimes goes 3 days with out eating even though three meals a day are offered to him , professionals just said he’s a healthy weight and not acting lethargic so it’s nothing to worry about x

My baby boy is 17 months old too, so I completely understand how easy it is to worry and compare milestones. ❤️ He sometimes uses words like mama, dada and nana correctly, but other times he’ll just shout at me! He was clapping and waving from around 10 months, but he still isn’t very confident with feeding himself and sometimes stuffs whole snacks into his mouth rather than taking little bites. It just goes to show that all little ones develop at their own pace, and what comes easily to one child might take a little longer for another.
The one thing I’d gently suggest keeping an eye on is whether he consistently responds to his name, and if you’re concerned, it’s always worth having a chat with your health visitor for some reassurance.
With food, my little boy goes through phases too. Some days he eats really well, and other days he refuses almost everything and will only accept things like sausages or nuggets! It can be so frustrating and worrying when they’re being fussy❤️

5am wake ups

My 2 year old keeps waking up at 5am and is cranky and tired enough that she wants to go back to sleep but needs lots of cuddles. But because by this point sleep pressure is low she’s takes over an hour to resettle and fall back to sleep. By this point my alarm is going off 6:15am for work 😖😩
She used to wake up nicely around 7am and we’d all be a lot calmer and have breakfast together but now I’m either letting her sleep in a bit so she’s not over tired and there’s always a big rush to get out the door.

Any tips?

She goes to bed at 8-8:30pm naps around 1pm for 1h-1h:30m

Baby Sling Recommendations

I’m looking for recommendations on a baby sling instead of a carrier or wrap, I’ve got both which my baby loves especially when it comes to nap time but it’s a mission getting on and off and she is getting heavier. I just want something quick and easy and didn’t know these even existed! She will be 2 months so not much neck control yet but is 12lbs 14oz, so conscious it needs to be decent for proper support.

Any mums have a sling that they’ve used from this age by any chance that they’ve loved?

Night feeds and changes

How do I explain to my partner that I don’t appreciate the fact he just expects me to do all of the night time feeds and changes, even when my baby is on my side of the bed when my partner doesn’t work? I would understand if he was working etc, but he doesn’t work so I don’t get why it’s not fully 50/50? Like even when we eat he cooks his own food first when our son is due a bottle so I feed and sit him up for the recommended half an hour before feeding myself, it’s just feels very selfish on his part. I don’t know if it’s me being dramatic or hormonal but it’s starting to get to me, for detail our son is 8 weeks

Crawling!

When should I get worried that my son is showing little interest in crawling? He’s 8 months old? He’s great and sitting and has just started spinning when he sits but will refuse to go on his tummy.
