How do I explain to my partner that I don’t appreciate the fact he just expects me to do all of the night time feeds and changes, even when my baby is on my side of the bed when my partner doesn’t work? I would understand if he was working etc, but he doesn’t work so I don’t get why it’s not fully 50/50? Like even when we eat he cooks his own food first when our son is due a bottle so I feed and sit him up for the recommended half an hour before feeding myself, it’s just feels very selfish on his part. I don’t know if it’s me being dramatic or hormonal but it’s starting to get to me, for detail our son is 8 weeks

we’re more emotional than men and if you try to explain to him, i feel like it’ll go in one ear and out the other.. i feel like you just need to tell him to do it. like maybe you do the first, then when it’s time for next feed/change. wake him up and tell him to do it.
if he’s been letting you do it all, he’s not gonna suddenly change and think to help. if anything , he’ll see nothing wrong and think you’re fine especially if you don’t say anything! don’t let that happen bc you’ll start having resentment towards him🥲

I absolutely agree. You have to demand it cause they honestly don’t know any better. And I think as women, we want our men to be mind readers. We just gotta say what we need straight up cause if not, he will never think it’s an issue. It’s not dramatic or hormonal tbh. You’re right for wanting these things.

Just tell him. But also — men hear things at a completely different level than we do. We hear the cries and loud sounds.. they hear the low sounds.. so don’t be surprised if he still doesn’t fully wake up.
We tried 2 nights of our son being on his side and I still had to nudge him to fully wake to tend to the baby. It’s a biological response. So yes, he should help / participate but he just might need a firm talking to and you actually getting him up to do it!
My 2 year old keeps waking up at 5am and is cranky and tired enough that she wants to go back to sleep but needs lots of cuddles. But because by this point sleep pressure is low she’s takes over an hour to resettle and fall back to sleep. By this point my alarm is going off 6:15am for work 😖😩
She used to wake up nicely around 7am and we’d all be a lot calmer and have breakfast together but now I’m either letting her sleep in a bit so she’s not over tired and there’s always a big rush to get out the door.
Any tips?
She goes to bed at 8-8:30pm naps around 1pm for 1h-1h:30m

I’m looking for recommendations on a baby sling instead of a carrier or wrap, I’ve got both which my baby loves especially when it comes to nap time but it’s a mission getting on and off and she is getting heavier. I just want something quick and easy and didn’t know these even existed! She will be 2 months so not much neck control yet but is 12lbs 14oz, so conscious it needs to be decent for proper support.
Any mums have a sling that they’ve used from this age by any chance that they’ve loved?

When should I get worried that my son is showing little interest in crawling? He’s 8 months old? He’s great and sitting and has just started spinning when he sits but will refuse to go on his tummy.

Guys I’m struggling! I know all babies develop at different rates but should I be concerned? My boy is 15 months and is some ways he’s smashing it and in other ways he seems very behind! He can count to 10, started doing his abcs and can say alot of words, but he can’t say mama and Dosent use dada meaningfully, he can’t clap or wave but can walk, point and has started feeding himself, he can tell me
What noises alot of animals make and what they are but he 9 times out of 10 dosent answer to his name, but he will bring me books and toys and sit and read and play with me and struggles ALOT with food, it’s a struggle to get food in him most days but other days! At what point should I be worried!
