4:30 wake ups help?

We tried dropping to one nap yesterday for the first time to see if it would help but she’s woken at 4:30 again this morning should I give it more time or could it be for another reason?

We were having 5am wake ups consistently, we tried dropping to one nap (she does only have one at nursery) we now do bedtime no earlier than 7 (she used to go anywhere between 6:30 and 7 before) and since then she has been waking up around 6, sometimes 5:30 on the odd day but usually 6

How’s the lighting in the room? We are facing the same issue since the start of the month. Someone asked us to switch to ultra blackout blinds so in the process of doing that now

she has a 7pm bedtime already we were going to consider moving it later but would rather not if we don’t have too

this could be it you know it is light in her room at 4:30 at the moment xx

What’s her two nap schedule like? Xx

so we moved to one yesterday but before that it was 30 minutes at 10am and 30-45 minutes at 2pm not capped she just doesn’t nap very long

How’s the one nap going for you? Sounds like she’s overtired maybe try an earlier bedtime sounds crazy but if my little one doesn’t have much sleep in the day she can sleep 6:30 xx

We’re in this with you. If she gets to 5,30 it’s a lie in. We’ve just dropped to one nap as last weekend she refused her second nap and also has been at nursery and then was sleeping until 5.45 consistently which was great compared to 4.30 but then as soon as we’ve made the decision to go with one nap she’s back up at 5ish again. SHE KNOWS!!! 😂

yesterday she had one at nursery and was very tired for bed at 7pm but other than that absolutely fine but today she’s just seemed so tired all day even after her 2 hour nap which is an enheard of amount of time! So I don’t know

it’s so hard to know what to do isn’t it!

Could try feeding lots/giving milk before bed too. (So they're definitely not hungry/are still comftably full early hours of the morning).
Works a treat with my LO atm (fingers crossed)

My little boy is EXACTLY the same. We make his room as dark as possible, he’s always gone to be at 1830 wake up at 7 and the last 2 weeks has been 430/5. He only has 2 small naps a day and I never let him sleep after 3pm, he has a bottle of milk before bed so I know he’s full - god knows what’s happening!

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong 🤔. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

Car seat crying

My 6 month old PANICS the second I put him in a car seat and screams, cries, chokes and recently even projectile vomited on a 14 minute drive. It’s gotten to the point I don’t even bring him out unless it’s to a doctors appointment. I’m a stay at home mom with no family in my state and it has been very isolating. We’ve tried 3 different car seats with no improvement. Has anyone had a baby who hated the car seat? Any advice? This started at 3 months. I will add it does seem worse when he’s tired. He does cry on every trip though. He only contact naps and co sleeps so he reaches for me and will not sleep in the car seat.

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Naps

How is everyone doing for naps?

Little one is 9 months old and will have 2 half hour naps and one solid 1 hour - 2 hour nap a day

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.
