I feel like I’m constantly on the clock, it’s never ending even when I do get a break I can’t get away from the anxiety of being gone. How do you cope with the mental load? I love my daughter more than life but I just feel like I’m drowning.

But in reality, I’m the primary caregiver since my man works out of state for days or weeks depending. I try to workout, make it a night to soak/do my feet, do my eyebrows with dollar tree men’s beard dye lol, prepping bunch of snacks I like and putting on movies I like you can make it special for you❤️ yeah it’s nice to be told go do this for yourself yada yada but you don’t always get that so if you don’t, do it for yourself mama

If you have a partner communicate that you are feeling this way and have them take over so you can care for yourself.
It’s totally normal to feel overwhelmed. Motherhood is a job that no one prepares you for, or at least that is the case for me.
