Me and my partner just split, we have a 1 year old and I’m currently 6 weeks pregnant he’s now told me he doesn’t want me to keep the baby but I want to keep it, I know I can’t stay in a relationship with him because it’s so toxic but the thought of having a toddler and a newborn alone is terrifying

I’m afraid I haven’t got much advice I just want to say how sorry I am that you’ve been in a toxic relationship xx

What I would say is do what you feel not what he wants!

Yes if you decide to keep the baby then know life will be hard for you and both children. Getting help might be hard.
Do you have support?

You're in a difficult position and I've been in this type of situation before and what I did was think about the baby's future. Logically having another was a horrible idea due to finances, housing and my relationship status. I already have a toddler so I knew no matter how it made me feel it would have been catastrophic for my child and myself if I had another because we barely make ends meet already and don't even have stable housing or support

That’s a lot on you. My husband left me when my first born was 6 months old and I was 15 weeks pregnant. I’m still going through my pregnancy and taking care of our baby at some times it can be overwhelming. But you can do it! Us moms have it in us we just don’t know it. Try attending playgroups in your any local area to get to know moms around you, your midwife could help with that, and request for a doula they support with pregnancy as a partner would!

Me and my partner split when I had an 18 month old special needs child and a 5 month old. It can be hard at times but you can get through it. Try to find yourself a support system.

My son just turned 1 and i am 4 months pregnant, after a while of self doubt and wondering if i was strong enough i finally realised that us women are capable of so much and that includes loving our children regardless of our situations. You’ll find peace with you and your children knowing you don’t have any toxic people in your life and although it can be daunting not knowing how life will be without the father, if he was really worth it he would step up but clearly not everyone has it in them to be a parent. But you’re strong and have so much love to give, keep thriving mama💘

I know this is probably the last thing you want to hear. But my baby was about to turn one and I found out I was pregnant. I was still with my bd at the time but I ended up terminating that pregnancy.
It was horrible and I cried for days but I felt like that was the hard right choice.
Fast forward me and my partner split and it got UGLY so everyday I think this is bad, but thank God I didn't continue that pregnancy! I couldn't go through this pregnant... I hope you find the right answer for you in your heart xx
