Me too. I EBF Sometimes i get so scared she isnt getting enough because i cant produce more than what i am pumping right now which is a little over four oz but seeing the comments on this post that its normal makes me feel better

If exclusively pumping (or away from baby), normal production is 1-1.5oz per hour since the last emptying. So if you pump every 3 hours, normal would be 3-4.5oz. If pumping in addition to nursing all day, it’s normal to only get 0.5-1oz total all day.

That’s great! I can only produce about 2 MAYBE 3 oz total at a time. I’m literally a “just enougher” and it’s stressful 😭

I pump about 10 ounces every 4-6 hours but my 4 month old eats 6 in a half ounces every 3 hours

If you are exclusively breastfeeding 4oz is all the baby needs! You milk changes it supplement due to the babies needs for example. If your baby is lacking a vitamin let’s say vitamin D your body will make sure in the next feed to add vitamin d from your body to baby! Your body will thicken the milk or lighten it depending on what baby needs and the amount of oz doesn’t effect how much your baby needs to feel full or fulfilled. However… what’s always worked for me was eating oatmeal with oat milk and drinking lots of water! Coconut water helps Too!

I am on milk producing pills and mainly bottle feed. I get about 17oz a day in 7 sessions ( 2.5hours of pumping )

Asked heal baby care app and sharing in case it helps:

"It's common for breastfeeding mothers to pump varying amounts of milk, and producing a little over 4 ounces at a time can be normal, especially at 4 months postpartum. Many factors can influence milk supply, including hydration, nutrition, stress levels, and how often you nurse or pump. If your baby is gaining weight well and seems satisfied after feeding, your supply is likely adequate.

If you're concerned about your milk production, consider increasing the frequency of pumping or nursing sessions, as this can help stimulate more milk production. Have you noticed any changes in your baby's feeding patterns or weight gain?"

not really. Sometimes she cries after she finishes a bottle like she wants more. But weight gain is good Dr says

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?
