Extreme fatigue 14 weeks pregnant?

I have a 2 year who doesn’t nap in the day anymore so I don’t have a chance to unwind as such. If I’m working from home I will try and have a nap in my lunch break and then I will go to bed about 8:30 just to chill. Anyway when I’m not at work I am exhausted as it’s just me and my crazy 2 year old.

In a moment of hormones I cried to my mum and said I’m sooo tired I’m struggling. She just replied with “it’s not normal!” “Women feel amazing in their 2nd trimester”. Annoying because didn’t feel amazing in my 2nd trimester with my 1st either she’s obviously just ignored that.

I now am paranoid I have something wrong with me? But I’m a pregnant woman with a toddler isn’t this just normal? She isn’t helpful and likes to always insinuate there’s something wrong with me but?? Is there?? I am pale but I’m tired so expected?

I have a 14 months old and I am exhausted. And I’m not even pregnant. Big hugs to you ❤️
I guess you already had your iron levels checked etc xx

Nah lol I’m 22 weeks and I still feel exhausted and need to lay down. My 2 year old doesn’t nap either so it’s 12 hours of madness from him and cooking and cleaning and laundry and groceries. Growing a human is exhausting and taking care of a tiny human running around is exhausting too!

I have been exhasted the whole time since finding out I was pregnant I nap sometimes twice a day when my partner is around to help with toddler I’m only 10 weeks I only started to feel this level of exhaustion in my 3rd trimester with my first so it’s hit me quite a bit

pregnancy exhaustion is normal no matter what trimester you’re in

14 weeks is still so early and what I would consider in the midst of it and still in the worst! I didn’t start feeling slightly better until 16+ weeks as the sickness eased off but still SO exhausted and was in the same situation as you with having a toddler that decided to stop napping right at this point! I’d say I didn’t feel those bursts of energy you’re meant to get in second trimester until after 20 weeks, and i’m now 32 and i’m back to being extremely exhausted again and my iron is fine so I think it’s just normal, your body is doing so so much work and with a toddler as well it’s exhausting xx

Im sorry you're so tired! But it sounds normal. I was pregnant with my second with a 2yo too and Im still exhausted 5 month postpartum! Lmao... Honor your body and get yourself some rest. Let yourself slow down right now. And maybe if you really can't get your 2yo to nap, try getting them used to some sort of quiet time... My 2yo still naps but we had wayyy more movie days when I was pregnant.

Girl I have a three year old and it’s been a parent from bed kind of day , we’ve watched movies and did activities in bed (play dough (I know I’ll regret it later), coloring , etc) because getting out of bed is exhausting today, I’m currently 12 +3 so not even 2nd trimester yet and it’s rough

Hospital bag (UK)

What did everyone pack for their section? I'm staying in for 3 days due to mental health, not really sure what I'll need to bring, feeling very nervous. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Labour

Think im a bit confused really, i went into traige as was having contractions eveey 3-5mins. Since being here im now having them every 2-3mins which was confirmed with the machine and i think the toco was 90-100 and they feel painful and my lower back is in loads of pain but apparently im only just over 2cm dilated maybe, she has said i can stay here for a bit longer to see if things progress as had a previous quick birth as well but i dont understand why the pains are coming this quick if im only 2cm dilated and feel a bit deflated from it also.

I had a sweep this morning also.
