Was it the NIPT blood test?

Honestly im hoping this happens to me. I already have a boy lol but nipt test says boy. Havent had ultrasound yet. But maybe its hiding or something? Like looks like legs are together a bit, maybe its... idk floating upwards where you cant see?..😅

I just had by anatomy ultrasound and it was definitely confirmed we are having a boy. It is possible for the NIPT to be wrong but odds are it is not. Good luck!

Wow!! And I thought NIPT is 99.9999% accurate!!

So if the lab technician was male and mishandled your blood sample in any way, they will detect male DNA and assume boy. Looks like a girl to me. Also, there are disappearing twins where the DNA will still show up as well as a rare condition where the placenta DNA is different than baby. If your blood test says girl it's a girl. If it says boy, sometimes it's wrong. Rare, but it happens and you aren't the first person I've seen it happen to.

The ultrasound definitely looks to be female but as said above maybe it is floating up and you can’t see it ? Did they do other angles to compare and double check?

I don’t know what Peekabo is but maybe do a more comprehensive NIPT test that is through a lab, not a home service?

Definitely a girl. Peekaboo can pick up any boy's DNA if you test in a non- sterile site. Did you do the at home test? NIPT would be accurate.
I did peekaboo in my last pregnancy because I was impatient but had it done in a clinic, and it was confirmed with NIPT and ultrasound.

Yeah, if you just did peakaboo and not sctual nipt test then I would believe what the ultrasound is saying/looking like bc peakaboo is known for not having as good of accuracy as an actual nipt test.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !
