When did you move your kiddo to their own room? I hear 6 months but essentially whatever works for you. 6 months still seems so small to all alone. But leaving them in the same room might just lead to continued wakes for both us parents. Just curious.

We moved her at 3 months for the frequent walking issue/she refuses to sleep if she knows we’re close unless she was on top of us the entire time! I exclusively pumped and my night pump alarms constantly woke her up. I would have preferred till 6 months though if she didn’t have issues with waking up to everything at that age. Our cat also gets overly mad if the bedroom door is closed and I wasn’t comfortable with the cat around the baby while we’re sleeping

We moved when he was 4.5ish months so that’s when he went to his own room and he actually slept better after going to his own room, my husband also snores so!

I still haven't and she's 20 months 🤷♀️ she's in her crib right next to us

We moved my kiddo at 2 and 1/2 months so we can stop waking each other up

A year with all 3 of my kids. Everyone is different, do what works for you and your family

i moved my 3 year old over a couple months ago, but i plan on moving my second over in a month or so! probably after we come back from vacation! he’ll be room sharing with his big brother so thankfully he won’t be “alone”

We waited till our daughter was ready. At 18months she told us she was ready and it was an overnight, super simple transition. Glad we waited for her to give us cues and now i miss her in our room 🥲

wow that’s an awesome transition. I know the feeling. While it can be rough to not have my space. That warm bundle of baby is special.

Planned to keep her in the same room with us until she was 1, but moved her out around 7 months bc she was getting too big for her bassinet and she didn’t have enough space to sleep and would have her face really close to the mesh, we knew we had to clear her storage room and set up a space for her real quick. It was nerve wrecking the first night but she has a crib, lots more space and we have a monitor!
