Anyone dealing with restless leg syndrome? before or after being pregnant? I have it so bad now and didn’t in my first pregnancy and it’s driving me crazy!

Is there any way to get relief?? Any tips???

Yes I have it and it is awful! Had it with my first pregnancy too.
Magnesium cream on my feet was helping but since about 20 weeks, the cream made no difference. I have to fill the bath tub with freezing cold water before bed and every time I wake up in the night I have to go and stand in it to try take the sensation away. I probably have to do this about 5 times throughout the night. I have just ordered a weighted blanket as that’s also supposed to help.
Ohhhh and wrapping something around the feet to put pressure on the bottom arch bit (I use one of my husbands long football socks) 😅 x

Hospital bag (UK)

What did everyone pack for their section? I'm staying in for 3 days due to mental health, not really sure what I'll need to bring, feeling very nervous. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Labour

Think im a bit confused really, i went into traige as was having contractions eveey 3-5mins. Since being here im now having them every 2-3mins which was confirmed with the machine and i think the toco was 90-100 and they feel painful and my lower back is in loads of pain but apparently im only just over 2cm dilated maybe, she has said i can stay here for a bit longer to see if things progress as had a previous quick birth as well but i dont understand why the pains are coming this quick if im only 2cm dilated and feel a bit deflated from it also.

I had a sweep this morning also.

C section trauma ?

Is it a thing to be traumatised by a c section delivery? I’m 4 weeks pp after having an emergency c section. I won’t go into the ins and outs to what got me there 😂
Nothing went wrong in the surgery at all, it was just incredibly intense, overwhelming and scary, but luckily my baby was delivered safe!
However I’m finding my birth experience quite difficult to even think about and when I do, I feel a horrid gut wrenching feeling, my heart aches and I just uncontrollably cry! My body feels really alien to me, like it’s not my own and I just feel really let down.
