No symptoms at all

I might have a weird question. I’m 18 weeks pregnant and at this point I have no symptoms at all. Like if it wasn’t for a small bump, I wouldn’t be able to tell that I am pregnant .. No cramps, not feeling baby move in there, nothing. Is this something to worry about or should I feel very lucky? 😅

I’m 30 weeks and have had barely any symptoms my entire pregnancy. Of course my baby is much larger now and definitely feel her kick but some of us have no symptoms till the end and some have every symptom under the sun to the entire time.

Im in the same boat lmao. Most of the time I forget I am pregnant 😂 It was weird at first but I now just accept I am one of the lucky ones.

thanks girls! That makes me feel better! Guess I might be just lucky but still can’t wait to hear his heartbeat at the OB on Thursday lol

The feeling of your kicks will depend on whether you have an anterior or posterior placenta. They will tell you at your 20w anatomy scan if they haven’t already. An anterior placenta you will feel kicks later on, and typically feel most kicks on the sides and or lower on your stomach.

oh perfect! Have my anatomy scan on Thursday so will definitely ask if she doesn’t tell me!

I’m 16 weeks and me neither luckily they are sending me for an early anatomy scan this week!

Same. Almost 19 weeks now and definitely understand how people end up on “I didn’t know I was pregnant”.

Girl me too I’m not feeling no symptoms at all and sometimes I be forgetting that I’m pregnant because of how normal I feel despite the breast tenderness … like why haven’t I got the symptoms … the doctors said that I got lucky but like why ?

I’m also 18 weeks

I had no morning sickness, but a few symptoms. I was told I was just lucky.

People that feel no symptoms - are you super active? Workout a lot? Eat healthy? I’d love to know :)

I am a teacher so I was up and moving around a whole bunch. Most of my symptoms started during the summer because, let’s face it, I am LAZY. So it could relate to the movement.

Woah!!!! Wow that is so interesting….

definitely not super active lol, more super lazy .. trying to eat as healthy as I can but baby is craving a lot of sweets, that literally might be the only thing I consider a “symptom” at this point

Hi there! Same here! 16 weeks and no morning sickness, just very very tired… but that’s happened before without being pregnant! Doc says everything is looking good and I’m just lucky not to have experienced the less pleasant side of the first trimester

I had this same thought!! Thanks for posting I feel the same way at 17 weeks just floating on through thankful but was curious!!

I have my anatomy scan on Thursday so will update you after! ☺️

Had the anatomy scan today! Everything looked good, don’t feel the baby yet because of my placenta but he’s growing and doing great! 🩵🩵

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Hospital bag (UK)

What did everyone pack for their section? I'm staying in for 3 days due to mental health, not really sure what I'll need to bring, feeling very nervous. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Labour

Think im a bit confused really, i went into traige as was having contractions eveey 3-5mins. Since being here im now having them every 2-3mins which was confirmed with the machine and i think the toco was 90-100 and they feel painful and my lower back is in loads of pain but apparently im only just over 2cm dilated maybe, she has said i can stay here for a bit longer to see if things progress as had a previous quick birth as well but i dont understand why the pains are coming this quick if im only 2cm dilated and feel a bit deflated from it also.

I had a sweep this morning also.

C section trauma ?

Is it a thing to be traumatised by a c section delivery? I’m 4 weeks pp after having an emergency c section. I won’t go into the ins and outs to what got me there 😂
Nothing went wrong in the surgery at all, it was just incredibly intense, overwhelming and scary, but luckily my baby was delivered safe!
However I’m finding my birth experience quite difficult to even think about and when I do, I feel a horrid gut wrenching feeling, my heart aches and I just uncontrollably cry! My body feels really alien to me, like it’s not my own and I just feel really let down.
