Hello all, just wondering how many people have managed to start toilet training their 2 and a half year old.
And any tips to make it easier

meeeee👋🏼 I followed the class from “big little feelings” it’s like $40 and is a 3 day course and honestly it was very straight forward it gave me a lot of confidence and problem solving scenarios. If you are into classes, it might make your life easier!

Yes, we've gone for it because she started resisting nappies. We also followed a course.

Hi Mia ..
Me 🙋🏻♀️ started once he turned 2 .. was a success in just a week … just needed a lot of attention and also motivation for him 🥰 Just see if he/she is ready to start and you can just give it a go … honestly, I dint plan much , bought some undies from Kmart after he turned 2 but dint know when to start it and just woke up one day decided to try and I’m surprised it went so well 😇 just get them on their undies at home and keep them hydrated and also keep asking if they need to use the toilet .. like every 15mins on the first day …a few accidents might happen but just be very calm and positive and keep motivating them .. they will get and I’m sure it will just happen like a magic 😍

Hi we’ve been successfully toilet trained for a couple of months- she was refusing a nappy and decided she wanted to be in knickers. She had been wearing a nappy before but would often stay dry and hold on til she was taken to the toilet, so I asked her if she’d like to wear knickers and she said no, then a couple of weeks later changed her mind.
Didn’t follow a course, just got her to go first thing in the morning and then set phone timers for every 40mins-1hr and asked if she needed to go, got her to sit and try before going in the car, if she didn’t then would try at our destination, again before leaving etc, to start with for long drives I was putting a nappy over her knickers but she was staying dry so stopped

He used to be very good at the whole toilet thing, then he had surgery and won't. I'm also nervous because I have my 5 month old. I don't wanna miss any of the time ques with him.
