Daily routines

Hey guys, wanting a bit of advice really in regards to daily schedules. My little one usually wakes up at 7.30am and has a nap between 1-3 and won’t go to sleep until 10pm!! I’m not sure if he’s overtired and refusing to sleep. Any tips or advice?

We are similar but all about an hour earlier! Wake at 6.30, nap 12-2pm and bed about 8.

6.45 we wake if not awake. Sleeps 12.15/1.45 then bed 7.45-8pm
It is really key not too much day time sleep tonight atthis age
We also now need 6 hours awake before bed. X

My lo wakes up between 6:15-7. Gets very sleepy by mid morning and is usually asleep at 11:30. Trying to push it to 12 to align with nursery but having no luck so far. Some days he’ll nap for 2-3 hours, others just 1.5. Asleep around 7:45-8:30 depending on how much he napped

do you find that you have to wake him up often? (If he’s still asleep at wake up time)

My son wakes up about 7:30 and then he naps from 1-3 and then sleeps at 7:30/8pm

Hey, possibly bit of overtired there, when similar happened to our lo its not enough night sleep and too much awake time so we gradually tried to adjust

she will sleep 11ish hours at night, course this depends if nap not been so good or if day stretched longer due to childcare

5 hour and 5 hour 40 wake windows are what our lo usually does

so if wakes at 7, nap 12-2, bed 7.30ish

if she's not slept well or overtired can be viscious cycle of not sleeping well and waking up early and taking longer to fall asleep which makes it worse but we just keep to the same hours where poss even if means really early bed

does he not seem tired until 10 or you trying much earlier and takes ages to sleep?

probs 3-4 days out of 7 we wake her. To be honest to make the day flow and routine go well I’m happy to wake her up.
We sleep trained at 5m and she has been a dream ever since to be honest, but we’ve always tweaked day time sleep as her needs have changed so we’ve never experienced any split nights etc. x

My little girl got up at 6:45 today and has just fallen asleep at 10:40 and will sleep anywhere from 1 hour 45 - 2 hours . Then she’ll be up till bedtime at 7ish.

I wouldn’t worry about nursery. We have very different routines on nursery days. At home she’s asleep by 11 or 11.30 latest but at nursery, she has lunch at 11.45 then sleeps from around 12.45. She’ll push through tiredness at nursery with everything going on and then it’s easier for them to get her to sleep too as she’s more tired

You could try to cap the nap / wake them earlier. Depends if it’s a problem for you!

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Breastfeeding

Does it ever feel better? The actual feeding part of it is going really well and baby boy is growing so well. I’m struggling with how my boobs feel day to day - it’s really getting me down most days. The let downs make me feel awful and sounds silly but, I am also really missing not wearing a bra! 9 weeks postpartum and still getting fairly engorged, even with comfort pumping.

Any advice or just shared stories would help. I’m so torn between carrying on because I enjoy the feeding side of it or switching to formula.

Big nursing bras!

I’m looking for recommendations for good nursing bras for bigger breasted ladies!

I’m currently in a 38H which seems to be the biggest size done at M&S (UK based mama here) and it’s snug and not as supportive as I’d like. When I look online, they mainly seem to be sized S, M, L, XL etc rather than bra sizes.

Any recommendations please?

Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Strange question

Hello. I would identify myself as asexual but yes i am married and i have a child. But now that ive had my baby. I think its solidified that im done having sex. I feel bad as my partner keeps asking me but i just dont want to. Any advice on what i can do? Any other asexual moms out there? I guess this could be confusing but im not huge on being bound by a label. I have just always felt it represented me best since highschool.
