Hi everyone, I need some advice. I’m attending a wedding, but I’m hesitant to bring my baby because I’m concerned that I won’t be as free or enjoy the event if I do. My cousin wife offered to watch the baby, but I don’t trust her as much since we don’t talk often, or should I just trust that God will look out for for baby regardless of who she’s with ? My sister also offered to help, but my baby cries excessively when I leave her there. I’m torn between trusting my cousin wife and prioritizing my child’s safety and taking her with me. I’m seeking your advice on the best thing to do

I would take my child and a babysitter.
I also want to do my birthday shoot soon and already saving money to carry a babysitter along to hold them because I know I won't even be rested and enjoy the event knowing baby is probably crying his head off. That's for me.
But then again, it's a one-off event and leaving them with family won't be a bad idea. If you trust your sister, leave baby with her. As long as u already have trust issues for the cousin wife, I would not use that option.
I just have trust issues leaving my kid with someone else lol but thank you for responding! Last time I took her to my sis , she cried the entire time so km kinda worried about that too 😫

I understand 😁
Mothers always feel that way. The guilt is always there 😁
You can take a babysitter along to the wedding. At least u have ur eyes on baby. But u may still not fully enjoy the event 😁

It’s normal to not trust anyone with your child, even if it’s family. I would do a trial run with you there but without baby seeing you. See how your baby does. The reality is, your baby will cry a lot more with other people because other people is not Mom. But you also have to give people a chance to learn how to soothe your baby, and that means unfortunately they may cry a little bit more in the beginning, sometimes that’s how it is. Not every baby will automatically be OK with a new person. I think it also depends on how old your baby is. How old is your baby?
Hey , thank you for responding! My baby is six months old, and I’m feeling quite nervous because the lady offering me and her don’t talk much
