Vbac with big baby ?

Hello 😊. I had an emergency c section with my first who was 10.3lbs and was in the 99th percentile. His size did not cause the c section btw.
However I’m being told that because my second already measuring in the 97th percentile my delivering doc will recommend a c section if he’s larger than 9-10lbs…. I know second babes tend to be bigger. ….
I guess I wanna know if anyone had a successful vbac with a big ol baby ?

I also had an emergency C-section with my first at fully dilated due to her being in a bad position, she was unexpectedly large at 9lbs 8… I had a successful VBAC with forceps in March with my son who was 9lbs 9 (97th percentile) it’s 100% possible to have a successful VBAC with a large baby and don’t let anyone tell you you can’t try! Obviously there are risks to attempting a VBAC with a large baby however there also many risk to having a C-section so you have to do what feels right for you and stand your ground! I had my son at 39+4 but had agreed with my consultant to have an earlier induction on my due date due to the size of baby had I not gone into spontaneous labour
