Sleepy baby??

Anyone else still have a sleepy Baby at or after 2.5 months? Baby GiRL is super sleepy, and I’m talking about falls asleep within the first one minute of being on the breast. It worries me because it’s really hard to know how much she’s getting in. If she just keeps falling asleep. It’s hard to feed her when she just keeps falling asleep And I’m just wondering if this is something other mothers are dealing with. Or if I’m looking at something that I need to be worried about.

My baby is 2.5 months and went through the same thing. I just watched her diaper output really close. As long as she’s having plenty of wet diapers you’re good. She’s probably going through a leap! If her urine output drops I would get in touch with your pediatrician- you don’t want her to get dehydrated. As long as she’s not so lethargic that she won’t feed at all you’re good, she’s probably just in a little sleepy phase!! Watch those diapers & don’t stress!!!

OK so her diaper output has been OK. But it has been better and I recently switched her to exclusively breast-feeding. And I’m still noticing P diapers, but it’s less pee in the diaper, like when she was on formula. The diaper was completely puffy. Now it’s just like a trickle of pee.

You can also try doing a bottle of pumped milk at night, that’s what we do and I like having the reassurance that’s she’s taking a bit feed right before bed. But if you just want to stick with the breasts, just know that if she’s peeing and pooping she’s getting enough! Even if it doesn’t seem like it.

My 3.5 month old went through a bit of a sleep regression Thursday Friday Saturday! Last night he slept from 6:45 to 2:45 no wake ups in between then was up 2 times after that and fully up by 7:45! Took a 20 min nap by 10:30 then slept from 11-3 stayed up till 4:30 then passed out till 5:45 and just went back to sleep at 6:45 I think k he’s going through a leap as well! He’s never slept this much!

My older daughter used to do that. Honestly take it as a blessing. During regression all she needed was a little bit of breastfeeding and she would knock back out.

I used to feed her and then change her diaper to wake her up a bit and then feed again. She’s 2 now and thriving. I now have an April baby. They are polar opposites.

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Breastfeeding

Does it ever feel better? The actual feeding part of it is going really well and baby boy is growing so well. I’m struggling with how my boobs feel day to day - it’s really getting me down most days. The let downs make me feel awful and sounds silly but, I am also really missing not wearing a bra! 9 weeks postpartum and still getting fairly engorged, even with comfort pumping.

Any advice or just shared stories would help. I’m so torn between carrying on because I enjoy the feeding side of it or switching to formula.

Bath Time

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Big nursing bras!

I’m looking for recommendations for good nursing bras for bigger breasted ladies!

I’m currently in a 38H which seems to be the biggest size done at M&S (UK based mama here) and it’s snug and not as supportive as I’d like. When I look online, they mainly seem to be sized S, M, L, XL etc rather than bra sizes.

Any recommendations please?

Strange question

Hello. I would identify myself as asexual but yes i am married and i have a child. But now that ive had my baby. I think its solidified that im done having sex. I feel bad as my partner keeps asking me but i just dont want to. Any advice on what i can do? Any other asexual moms out there? I guess this could be confusing but im not huge on being bound by a label. I have just always felt it represented me best since highschool.
