I finally weaned my toddler off her bottle. It's only been 4 days since weaning cold turkey however shes done well. She doesn't cry for her bottle anymore, and she sleeps just fine without it. However, she's refusing milk. She wants nothing to do with her milk in a sippy cup. Any time sje takes a sip of milk out of the sippy cup, she makes a grimace like the milk is disgusting. It's the same milk! She doesn't do this for water or juice at all. She's a picky eater, so I wanted her to continue drinking milk for the calcium. Does anyone have any tips to get a toddler back drinking to milk out of a sippy cup?

Does your toddler eat cheese yogurt etc other dairy products? My toddler never drank milk lol

@Katherine No. She doesn't like any of that. If she doesn't like the smell or the texture, she's not eating it. It's been a while since I tried giving her yogurt, so I'll try again.

@Tai my daughter was like that too. Try it in a smoothie maybe? Also there's calcium supplements you can look into! My daughter wasn't a fan and then slowly we discovered stuff like cheese sticks, cream cheese...Just keep trying!

Thank you for the suggestion!

Could try giving her a special milk cup? Let her pick it out, or get a new fun straw. When we phased out the last bottle (before bed bottle), we moved it into a fun new cup. We called it the big boy cup.
Or you could call your pediatrician about calcium concerns. Maybe they’ll ease your mind or have suggestions, supplements, etc.

How old is she

shes more than fine. As long as she eat other food for nutrients. Dont forget milk isnt really made for us to drink fr. My boy only had milk when he eats cereal and that's rare. Hes 2 & 8 months. Introduced yogurt, cheese ect into her diet.
