20 week ultrasound baby is measured to be big and I’m nervous 😭

So I just had my 20 week ultrasound and tbh I was really nervous. I’m having a girl and I’m very excited but I noticed that around 18 weeks was when I started feeling like a little movement and it’s just been getting more and more frequent, to the point where she is now kicking me and I can see it a little on the outside. So when I brought this up and did the ultrasound they said she is measuring big and I’m a little nervous bc she’s in the 83rd percentile and is 15 oz the nurse also said she is measuring 5 days ahead but didn’t know if my dude date is going to change. I previously had a miscarriage early in pregnancy a few years ago and this is my first baby. I’m glad she’s healthy but I’m worried about her rapidly growing.

My girl is measuring over weight and length too. Don’t be nervous she kicks the shit out of me and I’ve been feeling it since 14 weeks. You just got a strong little girl

I’d like to know what others say. I have my anatomy scan next week. And my doctor measuring my baby last week said she was measuring two weeks ahead.. which is a little scary to hear ofc lol I’m having my first girl. 💕

My baby measured 89th percentile at my 20 week ultrasound. I believe they said about 6 days ahead. They said baby could’ve had a growth spurt the week I went in. But I tracked my ovulation prior to getting pregnant and I know that the day I ovulated would put me 4 days ahead of the date they use based on your period. Just remember that your “due” date is just an estimate as are the measurements taken during ultrasound. Theres definitely a margin of error so I would try not to stress too bad ❤️

We were measuring quite a bit ahead and they adjusted my due date up for our boy! To be fair, my husband is 7’0 and I’m 6’4” so we expected a big little guy!

Fried rice noodles 🍜

The first craving my Asian ancestors in my body is asking for during my first trimester.😎
I went from no appetite to have three bowls of them straight 😂
I feel pretty healthy too as I added in lots of bean sprouts, carrots cabbage, onion and broccoli for veggies; eggs, tofu and beef meatballs for protein.
Ahhh I am just so happy 😀

Elective C-section

Guys I'm 13 weeks but I'm already extremely terrified of birth and specially tearing and injuries down there. I'm thinking I'd rather suffer the pain from the c section than going through natural labour. I like the thought of everything being planned and I'd know what's going on. Any of you in a similar situation?

Early labour

So it has been a bit of joke with my husband that I won't realise when I'm in the early stages of labour as I will just crack on (I had a cyst 18 months ago which I just got on with as I didnt want to bother anyone)
Anyway to the point I'm 39+6 with our first. I've had loose BM for a couple of days and go to bed feeling sick for the last 3 nights. I have had a few cases of quite intense cramping but it only lasts a few seconds. Is this is all signs my body is preparing itself. I don't see my midwife till I'm 40+3 so can't ask her till then?
I haven't lost my mucus plug or atleast not noticeably.

Anyone else think the worst piece of advice for a first time mum is ‘you’ll be able to tell when you are in labour’!

Looking back I was in early labour for over a week, and while my hospital records say my labour was 1hr 14 mins it was actually closer to 10 hours. But I didn’t actually realise I was in labour ‘cause there would be no doubt about it’ so I only just made it to the hospital really!

It doesn’t help that I also mistook ‘regular contractions’ to mean they must be coming at regular intervals eg 1 min on 4 mins off, not like mine which were more like 1 min on 5 mins off 40s on 3 mins off ect.

I’m having my baby tomorrow

I have just found out that I am going to be induced tomorrow. After a rough pregnancy this is the best decision for us I will be 39 weeks and 5 days. Anyone got any tips or advice to make the process smoother.
