I’ve been in a few weeks ago for reduced movements and toco ready was between 7-12. I’m in today for shortness of breath, high heart rate and I’m being monitored. Toco reading is 32/33?? Any idea why the increase?

I think it’s just be the rate or strength of your braxton hicks / contractions. I’m not sure how it works but when I was last on the monitor about a month ago, my reading was about 50 and I couldn’t feel anything, the midwives weren’t concerned! Best to ask the midwives looking after you if you’re a bit worried :)

It’s how strong braxon kicks are. mine were between 50-100 when I went in for itching about 4 weeks ago now. It all calmed out but kicks are stronger and now lower down my belly. But still not in labour. I’m 31+5
maybe that’s what it is. I’ve been having periods of shortness of breath and heart rate going up and as the toco reading went up on the monitor, so did my heart rate so wonder if there’s a slight correlation

Must be that, cuz when your cervix is having contractions (even braxon kicks) your Heart rate goes up naturally but if it is not regular and super high then nothing to worry about :) braxon kicks I have are so painful sometimes but apparently it’s all ok
