Motherly intuition

Hey guys, lately I’ve been feeling like I’m doing everything wrong. I feel like my partner is much more intuitive and nurturing when it comes to handling situations. I’ll give some context: we have been doing a hands on gentle sleep training method for almost a week and I am the one who usually gets up and does it since they work early in the AM. I’m happy to do it. Last night I was trying to continue the training but baby was just wanting to play and stay up so would get upset when I’d try to rub her back to fall asleep so my partner takes over and says that “maybe it’s time to stop trying for a little and be up”. So they play for a little and in 20 minutes or less the light turns off and the baby is ready to fall asleep. I can’t help but compare and feel like a failure. Why couldn’t I think of that? Why didn’t I soothe her and nurture her instead of being too rigid about the sleep training. I swear sometimes I’m too by the book and not following my motherly intuition. Thanks for reading 🥲🫶🏼

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

He use to sleep through the night now he is waking up every single night in the early morning, I've had to transition him to a toodler bed as he kept climbing out his cot. Just need some advice on what I can do to help him get back in to a sleep pattern?

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
