My baby’s due date is at the end of September. Which one do you recommend using at night — a duvet or a Dreampod?

Swaddle blanket or sleep sack (which I believe the dream pod is). A duvet won't be suitable for a newborn

please get a sleep bag and not a duvet babies wriggle a lot and would easily get stuck under and possibly suffocate especially that little - sleepbags are much safer as they stay against baby

Sleeping bag for night time sleep. You can use a duvet or a blanket for day time naps that are supervised, thats what I did 😊 look into Jukki they gave nice baby safe stuff that is breathable.

Swear by a sleep bag. It eased my mind so much, especially in the winter months.. I've only recently given her a duvet (shes 2 in Sept). I wouldn't do a blanket, it just worried me too much as they wriggles around alot

They are both unsafe. Use a sleeping bag

I recommend whichever one you think is better your midwife or Doula or OB will tell you which one they recommend my midwife keeps telling me a dream pad would be better but it’s really up to you

I mostly used a Sleepsack for my little one, he’s just turned one and still doesn’t have a duvet - it isn’t recommended for a bubba under 1 to have a duvet, to begin with I did have to use a blanket instead as he was too small for the sleep sacks, make sure that you choose a breathable blanket and ensure bubba is at the bottom of the crib (feet at the bottom) and the blanket is tucked around the bottom and both sides of the mattress and that your babies arms are over the blanket (should be tucked under their underarms) - look into it on the lullaby trust website (https://www.lullabytrust.org.uk/baby-safety/baby-product-information/mattresses-and-bedding/)
