I do combine feed and I mostly breast feed him for comfort and when he doesn’t seem too hungry. notice my milk supply has not yet satisfied him so we have to do bottle as-well.
Most night he goes to bed breastfed and he would suckle to sleep. I unlatched him and notice he’s sleeping but I’m not sure if he’s fully satisfied with feeding. I let him breast feed for at least 20m to make sure he has enough.
Should I carry on doing so or wait until he unlatch himself ?

I’ve always allowed my son to unlatch himself - particularly at under a year old.
It also largely depends on the feed though is baby actively feeding or just comfort suckling?
If you’re topping up with bottles your supply will never catch up - the best way to up your supply is latch latch latch. So if you want to increase your milk supply I’d let baby latch as much and for as long as they’d like x

make sure rub his arm or ear while feeding! my son will fall asleep before hes actually full and then cry when i go to burp him. also watch for the long sucks he will do when actively eating instead of short sucks for comfort. if youre not confident that hes full i suggest switching to the other boob even if he falls asleep at the first one

just checked with heal family health app and sharing in case it helps,
"It's common for babies to suckle for comfort, and it's great that you're attentive to his needs. If he seems content and is gaining weight appropriately, continuing to breastfeed for comfort is fine. However, if you're concerned about his satisfaction, consider offering a bottle after breastfeeding to ensure he's getting enough. You might also try to observe his cues-if he seems relaxed and falls asleep, he may be satisfied. Would you like tips on recognizing hunger cues?"
