My 8 week old hates his hands being touched and fusses when being held. Is this normal?

Is this normal? My 8 week old baby seems to really not like being held in the usual baby cradle position and gets distressed as he kicks out with stiff legs and goes read in the face. Initially we thought this was due to gas or tummy ache but now we’re really not so sure as it can’t be a tummy ache all the time?! He also does not like his hands to be touched as he pulls away and seems to get a little distressed. He has clenched fists a lot of the time but does open them. When we do manage to get him to hold our hands his grip can vary between being loose and sometimes firm?! Is this anything to be concerned of and has anyone else experienced this?

Sounds like gas or reflux. My little one doesn’t like being held in the cradle position, only upright! If he’s not being sick it could be silent reflux.
