So I waited until 36+2 to start hand expressing as advised by my midwife. I’ve now expressed 3 times and I’ve managed to freeze 26ml! I’ve had a read up online about donating colostrum to the NHS and I’m really considering it depending on how much I have by the time baby is here.. Just wondering if anyone has donated colostrum before and what their experience was with it (how much you donated ect)

Isn’t it advised to not start expressing until you’re 36+ because it can induce labour? Sorry if I’ve miss understood x

So sorry! Typo! I was 36+2 when started!! I’ve edited the post now 🫣😂

Girl had me stressing 😂😂

honestly my brain is not working😂 must remember to proof read before posting 😂😂xx

my brain isn’t working either 😫

I’m US based so likely some differences, but I considered donation and there are so many hoops to get through with testing and all that - it was ultimately so much of a hassle to register to donate I decided to donate to some folks I knew that were adopting instead
