If you have ever experienced post partum rage, please can you tell me how that looked for you? I feel very alone and scared of my thoughts and need some reassurance from others that have been through it. Thank you. X

I mostly took everything out on my partner, arguing constantly and even threw something at him once.
It was always over the most silly things too.
The one that really scared me was our little girl was crying wanting a bottle and I was on my own, she kicked over the bottle with boiling hot water in it all over my leg, I got so angry I think I put her into her Moses a bit too roughly and had to walk away. I still feel awful about that now.
Have you seemed any medical advice ?
But know it does get better

I was horrible to be around! If someone put something in my way or left something on the counter I would just throw it. I would just launch things across the house and we don’t have a small house lol I broke so many things. My mom and sister hated me because I was so mean to them. My husband would get frustrated and upset but he understood because he was the one I vented to all the time. For me I upped my Zoloft which helped a lot but I eventually started feeling a lot better after some time. If it’s getting bad it’s probably best to seek therapy I wish I did

For me it was the slightest stress/inconvenience feeling like the worst possible thing! It was losing my temper and not being able to remain calm when I was anxious. Anxiety manifesting as anger. Having to squeeze things to let out frustration and anger.
Definitely taken out on my partner, never physically just verbally.
Therapy definitely helped and I rarely get ‘angry/rage’ now x
