We’ll be moving onto cows milk in a month but just wondering how that works because my girl is still on x3 bottles during the day, which range from 4-5oz but I always offer 7oz and occasionally she will have a bottle at 4/5am if she wakes I can’t settle her

Just start with making 6oz formula 1oz milk, and every day to two days increase that so 5oz formula 2oz milk and so on
So overall eventually it’s fine to still offer the usual 3 feeds but just cows milk?

It’s more about how much rather than how often lovely. It needs to be at least 350ml and up to 500ml a day cows milk, it’s up to you how you split it. If you’re getting close to the 500ml mark though be careful not too give too much other dairy sources as it can be upsetting for their stomach

We are going to do it over a few weeks as my first was so so constipated from the cows milk that she didn’t poo for 8 days and after trying EVERYTHING, we ended up in A&E because she was in so much pain. It was awful so really want to be gentle on the transition this time
Good tips! Will have a think about gradually introducing to eventually replace her current bottles
