Early scan…twins??

To me that looks like twins, sharing a sac x

This looks like my twins 6 week scan looks like fraternal twins different sacks x

Now I’ve been googling and worrying myself sick that it’s a Subchorionic Hemorrhage and I’ll end up miscarrying🫣

I had SCH at 12weeks and nothing happened. My twins are 21m now.

a little bit of blood / bleeding during pregnancy is often not a big deal. Sometimes there might be a little bit of blood left in the uterus from implantation bleeding.

If it were a subchorionic hemorrhage, most likely you would know all about it. I bled fresh blood for 7 weeks during my twin pregnancy (from a subchorionic hemorrhage), at times much heavier than a period. My twins survived.

Do you have another scan booked for a week or two’s time? This scan you have just got done is very early. I imagine it was too early to see any heartbeats? I would be asking for another scan in about 2 weeks to see heartbeats (if they don’t offer it to you before then)

thank you for your reply! This is what the sonographer was questioning weather it was a haemorrhage or possible twin. I have no cramps or bleeding but do have extreme pregnancy symptoms which I haven’t experienced with my previous 3 pregnancies🤷🏼‍♀️ weve rebooked for a week today to follow up but I just don’t know what to think now and will worry myself sick all week xx

I think it’s more the not knowing weather it is a SCH or in fact a twin that’s got me worried sick xx

yeah they could see it until I was 20 weeks also then it just disappeared! xx

Does look like SCH. I had one at 9 weeks until 16 weeks with my twins and was fine. I don’t have any blood so you wouldn’t necessarily know about it.

First pic looks a bit like twins but your other pics you uploaded looks more like an SCH or could just be an empty sac. My hemorrhage was from implantation xx

I don’t think you would even see the hemorrhage yet your placenta isn’t even beginning to show on here. Don’t worry about that! I would be excited! But all we can do is come back in a week or two right please update us after your next scan this is so exciting! Twins!! 😁

Anyways my subchorionic hemorrhage they couldn’t tell when I was that early it wasn’t until later on that they could for sure diagnose me with it and it didn’t look anything like a twin.

If it helps ease some anxiety, I had two large subchorionic hematomas with significant bleeding which resolved on their own, with no effect on the babies (MCDA twins). Xx
