My baby girl is 9 months and 3 weeks. I started noticing signs of separation anxiety at 8 months. It’s really ruined our routine and I’m just so fed up. I feel like I’m the only one struggling like this.
She wakes up and screams blooody murder when she realises she’s in her cot. She wakes within 5 mins of me leaving every time and I’ll have to go in at least 2-3 times to put her back to sleep. By the fourth I just give up, but it’s clear she’s tired cause she’ll be cranky. I’ve tried laying with her during her naps. That worked for a bit but it’s impossible to keep up as I have an older kid who needs me and things to do around the house. I’ve resulted to co sleeping which I hate cause if I move she wakes up so I can’t get comfortable. Now ever since co sleeping her naps have gotten worse since she absolutely hates her bed now. I feel like I have no choice but to sleep train. I feel like my whole day is just me putting her to sleep. It’s affecting my mood and I have such little patience now I literally have to calm myself before going back into her room when she wakes.
What did separation anxiety look like for your baby ? How long does this last? How do I tackle this? Right now I just have her with me all day everyday. She doesn’t sleep well in a carrier either, if she does it’s a maximum of 20-30 mins.

I just had an argument with some other moms about this topic in another group.
I don’t co sleep with my daughter, no way. I’m doing Feber Method every day until she sleeps on her own. My daughter was sleep trained until 9 months old. When she turned 9 months old the hell started 🤣 out of the sudden. Right now she is still like this 6 weeks now, going through this, go in her room, talk to her, massage her, leave the room, she cries and I repeat the same thing. She wakes up every 2-3 hours at night, remembers she has separation anxiety anddd teething at the same time. So yea Idk what advice to give you here, it’s happening to every one else. Sorry ❤️
it’s nice to know I’m not alone but do you think you could share the link to the post where this has been discussed

Got it thanks !

I’m sorry I can’t offer any wisdom as I’m experiencing the same! And it’s really hard going! Except my baby has Always had this. She had a 3 month NICU stay after being born prematurely and then she came home on 24/7 oxygen so that didn’t help the early routine and her clinginess.
I’ve succumbed to cosleeping. The last couple of days I’ve managed to get her to sleep in her pram by going for walk at her nap times and she does sleep in her pram if I time it right. She also doesn’t have an issue with the car seat. But her cot she is 100.% adverse to.
