Sleep/general help

My daughter is very attached to me which obviously is fine as I’m her mother and I love that I’m her safe space however it’s getting unhealthy for me. Just looking to see if anyone is in a similar place.

She’s an absolute angel for others and one of the most polite and well behaved children for others so I constantly get comments about how she can’t be hard. However, when it’s just us it’s pretty much hell. Constant meltdowns and poor behaviour. Don’t get me wrong she can also be very loving and she will use her manners etc but generally not. It’s to the point that it’s like she’s ‘masking’ even infront of her dad. He’ll leave the house and then the meltdowns begin. Or if there’s anyone around, she’s totally fine and within minutes of leaving, it’s meltdowns again. It’s like she saves everything for me. It feels more than the normal developmental thing.

She is also a nightmare at bedtime it’s taking me an hour to get her to sleep and she’ll only go to sleep for me. I’ve tried everything to reduce this and literally nothing helps. She also wakes in the night for me and I have to sleep in her bed or it’s a major meltdown and we have a 6 month old aswell so I literally can’t push back on her because it’ll wake him up. Tbh it wouldn’t even work as she would end up in such a state. My parents had the kids on the weekend and she slept until 8am and didn’t wake once shouting them or no one had to sleep in her bed. It’s so draining. I barely sleep when I’m in with her because her bed hurts my back and she regularly smacks me in the face or pokes and prods me throughout the night 🫠 it’s also getting earlier and earlier. Used to be around 4/5 and it’s now before midnight. I’m getting next to no time in my own bed.

We’re waiting on someone contacting us about the sleep/behaviour but just in the meantime.

My son is the same with bedtimes. I’m very worried on having my second due to not wanting to leave him as he will only sleep for me and wakes for me through the night. He’s never had more than a few hours without me. Through the day he’s constantly next to me and gets very upset if I go somewhere without him. I thought I was alone with this 😢 here if you want to chat some more x

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Breastfeeding

Does it ever feel better? The actual feeding part of it is going really well and baby boy is growing so well. I’m struggling with how my boobs feel day to day - it’s really getting me down most days. The let downs make me feel awful and sounds silly but, I am also really missing not wearing a bra! 9 weeks postpartum and still getting fairly engorged, even with comfort pumping.

Any advice or just shared stories would help. I’m so torn between carrying on because I enjoy the feeding side of it or switching to formula.

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Big nursing bras!

I’m looking for recommendations for good nursing bras for bigger breasted ladies!

I’m currently in a 38H which seems to be the biggest size done at M&S (UK based mama here) and it’s snug and not as supportive as I’d like. When I look online, they mainly seem to be sized S, M, L, XL etc rather than bra sizes.

Any recommendations please?

Strange question

Hello. I would identify myself as asexual but yes i am married and i have a child. But now that ive had my baby. I think its solidified that im done having sex. I feel bad as my partner keeps asking me but i just dont want to. Any advice on what i can do? Any other asexual moms out there? I guess this could be confusing but im not huge on being bound by a label. I have just always felt it represented me best since highschool.
