I feel like all I do is post asking for advice these days 😅 but for the mummas with little ones on SMA Little Steps, have you moved them on to the follow on milk at 6 months? If so did you wean them on to it of did you do a straight swap? Has it helped with their appetite at all? Just my little one is being off with his bottles now his getting food and I know the next stage milk is suppose to help with appetites… thanks in advance from a very lost and tired mum 😅

You don't need to go on to follow on milk, it's a gimmick. If he is uninterested in his bottles drop an ounce and see if that helps. Or drop a complete feed as he's now eating.

my only concern is yesterday because he had lunch he had milk at 8am then no more milk until 7.30pm because lunch had filled him up but the little steps follow on says it fills them up less so they still have a healthy milk in take

Maybe you are giving him a too big of a lunch portion. He should be having an afternoon bottle. How many ounces are you giving him per bottle

He has 7 ounces per bottle and I have tried giving him less but he gets angry 🤣 also his lunch is really small at only a few mouthfuls

The follow on milk is a marketing gimmick. There is no needs whatsoever to change.
It's perfectly normal that your little one will want less milk when they're starting to eat 'proper' food.

yeah I think I’ve accepted he may not want milk at lunch, I’m going to offer it instead of the water I gave him instead tho and hope he even has a few mouthfuls

Thank you so much! It doesn’t help that I have issues with obsessing over things due to my adhd so it’s all freaking me out! 😅
