Is anyone else’s little one fighting sleep lately??

Hi mums!

I’m really struggling at the moment and wondering if anyone else is going through the same thing with their LO. Lately, every time we try to put him down for sleep—whether it’s bedtime or naps—he just cries and cries. It feels like such a battle and it breaks my heart because I know he’s tired, but he just won’t settle.

It can take almost 2 hours to finally get him to sleep, and even his nursery staff have been struggling with the same thing during nap times, so I know it’s not just us at home.

We’ve kept to our usual routine, tried extra cuddles and calm time, but nothing seems to be working right now. I’m exhausted and feeling a bit helpless. Has anyone else experienced this at this age? Was it a phase, a regression, or something else? Any tips or reassurance would mean so much right now.

Sending hugs to anyone else struggling with sleep too—you’re not alone 💛

The past 2 days my little boy has not napped! Screams if I leave him in his room. I've just spent 25 mins driving around to get him to sleep but he wont, so another day with no nap today 🫩

Yeah my son didn’t have a nap yesterday, and today we wanted to make sure he at least naps for like 30mins. And when we tried to put him down for nap, even though he was soo sleepy, he was crying as if he is in pain or something.
And on top of it, we just spent close to 2.5hrs to put him to sleep for bedtime!!

It’s taking me 2 hours each night to make him sleep too, it’s a struggle and hopefully this sleep regression will end soon 😭

I’m having the same exact issue

My LB is taking hours to get to sleep and then he’s always awake for 2-4 hours in the night refusing to sleep, I don’t know what else to do either! He will nap for half hour in the day so it’s not like he’s getting too much sleep either! I’m at my wits end too, it’s absolutely ruining our holiday and I feel like a failure

My little one is taking a while to sleep. Used to take around 15-20 mins to doze off but it’s taking well over an hour now. Been this way for a month. I’m so tired 😂🤗

8 week old in sleeping bag for first time as big enough! Do you feed your child in the night whilst in the sleeping bag or taken them out, feed then transfer back to sleeping bag before putting down?

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
