I have been sleeping mostly on my left side for weeks now and continuing but it is really starting to ache on my whole side now!? Can you sleep on your right. I know not your back but my left is just so painful now and again and wakes me up in the night!

I sleep a mixture of both because I can’t physically just sleep on my left and nothing bad has happened..

Is it not recommended to sleep on right side? I've never heard this and I mostly sleep on right side x

Yes sleep on both

Left is the "preferred side" but right is completely fine too, I do a mixture theres no way I could sleep on one side all night

I sleep on both sides!

Agree with everyone it's absolutely not possible to sleep on just one side, I keep switching sides overnight because my hands go numb.

I’m week 37 and I also do a mixture and alternate all night. I usually wake up sore so have to roll over to the other side…

i’m nearly 38 weeks and have always slept on both sides! sometimes on my back of my partner is awake i’ll just ask him to keep an eye on me x

I have to sleep on both. Got to the point where my hips were aching too much if I laid on one side for too long but also noticed my acid flares up really bad if I’m sleeping on my left side and sometimes I just can’t be bothered to constantly be reaching for the gaviscon, so I turn to my right lol
Thank you all!

It’s just back and front (after 30 weeks) that is discouraged either side is fine xx
