Set an alarm to check or let them sleep?

Hi ladies, my 12 week old is sleeping longer stretches at night now but I'm still setting alarms through the night to check on her incase I don't wake up and hear her. She's right next to me. What are people doing?

I’m sleeping! I’m first was up every 30-90 mins and this baby is an amazing sleeper so I’m getting every ounce of sleep he gives me (often 8hr stretches). He’s been sleeping 6hr stretches most nights from very early on. Dreading the 4 month regression!

As long as babies back up to their birth weight you can leave them to sleep theres no need to wake them. Enjoy the sleep 🥰

Amazing. Is your LO stirring? Mine doesn't actually wake up crying but I find after 3-4 hours she starts to grunt and stir so i worry she needs nappy changing or burping etc... 🥴

Definitely leave them! Mine has been doing 6-8 hour stretches consistently every night now for a good month (he’s also 12 weeks) and I’ve always left him to sleep. She’ll let you know if she needs something 🫶🏼

You will be attuned to your baby and wake if she needs you.
Sleep ! Xx

Sleeping! I don’t wake unless my children wake.

Mine does sometimes (not that often) wake (often to do a fart) and then go back to sleep without crying and without me intervening. I only intervene if he cries and only change his nappy if there is a reasonable risk he has done a poo (which would usually cause him to cry).

Sleeping for sure! Never set any alarms for either of my children.

I also don’t tend to her unless she’s crying. Babies do a lot of grunting etc and it’s just their active sleep - they’re not actually awake and you could disturb them by picking them up.

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Breastfeeding

Does it ever feel better? The actual feeding part of it is going really well and baby boy is growing so well. I’m struggling with how my boobs feel day to day - it’s really getting me down most days. The let downs make me feel awful and sounds silly but, I am also really missing not wearing a bra! 9 weeks postpartum and still getting fairly engorged, even with comfort pumping.

Any advice or just shared stories would help. I’m so torn between carrying on because I enjoy the feeding side of it or switching to formula.

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Big nursing bras!

I’m looking for recommendations for good nursing bras for bigger breasted ladies!

I’m currently in a 38H which seems to be the biggest size done at M&S (UK based mama here) and it’s snug and not as supportive as I’d like. When I look online, they mainly seem to be sized S, M, L, XL etc rather than bra sizes.

Any recommendations please?

Strange question

Hello. I would identify myself as asexual but yes i am married and i have a child. But now that ive had my baby. I think its solidified that im done having sex. I feel bad as my partner keeps asking me but i just dont want to. Any advice on what i can do? Any other asexual moms out there? I guess this could be confusing but im not huge on being bound by a label. I have just always felt it represented me best since highschool.
