My LO is going to be 4 months on Sunday; and I’ve noticed that she has became more clingy and having little cry fits when there is nothing wrong with her. I know she might be going through a growth spurt.

Dealing with exactly the same thing.. unsure of what to do since I have to return to work in 2 weeks :/

She’s just becoming more aware of her surroundings so if she’s bored or misses you crying is her only way of letting you know

No such thing as a clingy baby ☺️ teething maybe. But babies should be held and loved on as often as possible.

Uh that’s my child. My child has been super clingy today and will be 4 months Saturday 🥹🙄

They still think that you are them. They don’t recognize they are their own person until 6-9 months

I believe there is a such thing as a clingy baby. I don’t think there’s anything inherently wrong with saying so. I hold and love my baby often, always have. I try to be very present and attentive. But my LO is a little over 4 mos and I’ve noticed the same; wanting to be held more, a little more fussy than normal even when nothing is seemingly wrong. I think sometimes it could be early teething discomfort, and also just discomfort with this phase of development. Lots going on during this phase and it seems like she just wants her mama a lot more than normal. And her “normal” is always. She’s a mama’s girl already, but my girl is definitely extra clingy lately.

It’s early teething discomfort!!!
