Had a couple comments recently that my 8.5 month old should be sleeping through the night now and keen to know if we’re the minority?
He’s asleep by 8pm and wakes for a feed anytime between 1-3:30am and then I have to wake him at 6:30/7am.
This works for us personally and not sure I have it in me yet to tackle dropping it and dealing with multiple wake ups or early rising 😂 but maybe I need to ?

My baby feeds multiple times overnight! Wish he only woke for one feed!

Mine wakes between 1-1:30 to feed and then wakes again between 4-5 to feed again and our day starts at 8

Same as Maddie! Although most likely it is just for comfort, not because he's hungry

Yes but sleeps the same as yours, with wake ups for comfort too 💤

We're similar to you. Try not to compare your baby/situation with others. My daughter naturally dropped her night feeds to 1. Im hoping she'll drop this final one without my interference.

My little one feed a few times in the night! She’s only ever ‘slept through the night’ from midnight until 6 once before, but there were stirrings through that time as well.. are they supposed to be sleeping all the way through now?? 😫

My girl wakes multiple times for a feed still and she’s 9 months today x

All depends on the day, sometimes wakes for a feed if not eaten much. Makes noooo difference to the amount of sleep tho shel wake around 5am for her morning bottle.. x

I wouldn’t listen to those comments. Every baby is different and it’s completely normal for babies to wake in the night and need a feed. You do what works for you ☺️

You say it works for you - so just go with it and try to forget what people say. If it works, it works :) that’s it x

Mine wakes at least 2 times to feed, that’s probably all she needs, but sometimes she wakes more often to feed
Breastfeeding though.

Mines hasn't had a bottle through the night for a long time, since he was about 3 months old

My LB just decided once he started sleeping in his own room at 7 months that he was going to sleep right through the night from 7:30pm to 6:00am/7:00am, I’m not sure if it’s because he’s not in our room anymore but he just doesn’t wake in the night anymore unless he’s unwell x

That's brilliant with one wake!

Mine dropped all her feeds and slept through from 3-6 months…and has slept progressively worse since that time! We now have a night feed again which I think is habitual at this point, not that she needs it, plus random comfort wakes. She’s developing and growing so fast, we’re just riding it out with her for now 🫶🏻
Try not to feel pressured by other babies’ sleep - it can all change in a blink and my girl is an example of that!

Honestly don’t feel too bad about it. And upside, you still get that snuggly, sleepy moment in the dark with your baby. Our girl started sleeping through since about a month and while I’m loving the interrupted sleep I also kind of miss our little nighttime cuddly feed 😅

My LO is 9 months next week and she wakes 5+ times a night 🤦♀️ some nights she wakes every hour

For me 'Yes, and either sleeps longer or wakes up earlier'.
My LO usually falls asleep around 7pm, wakes up around 11pm for a feed & nappy change. After this, he sleeps until 5:30-7:30am and, if we are very lucky, with only 1 wake up. More often though, he wakes up every 1.5-2h after 11pm and sometimes once before 11pm. So, some nights are rough to put it mildly. 90% time, he won't settle without a feed or might do if he was to contact sleep. Also, he's down to 2 daytime naps now but most of the time only has 40min naps. This even if I was to let him to contact sleep. I reckon all of this plus developmental changes often make him a bit sleepy when he's awake.
It's nice to read everyone's experiences with this and knowing I'm not the only one with multiple might wake ups. You've got my sympathy, as it's not easy to get through the day on empty batteries.
It would be interesting and useful to hear what type of sleep training everyone has tried and how it went?

My LO is 9 months and also wakes up 5 + times. Some nights if lucky 4 times but most nights 5 + times x

LOL! My almost 10 month old sometimes wakes up 5 times a night, there is no “your baby needs to this and that”. Every baby is different and some babies wake up many times through the night. And it is completely normal.

My 9 month old wakes up 4+ times in the night and hates going back in his own bed 😫 xx

We have a very similar routine, no sign of dropping the night feed but I can live with this after a terrible sleep regression and teething stint
