My baby girl use to wake/feed 3 times a night, but recently she went up to 5. 2/5 times she's wide awake! She sleeps in her crib, but in our room. I don't want to make her cry it out especially if she's hungry and I refuse to do rice cereal in the bottle. I try to give her a filling dinner (rice cereal with a puree) but she wants a bottle like 10-15mins later. I'm guessing she's feeding for comfort, I'm debating putting her in her own room and seeing if she'll sleep better. I've also noticed sometimes she thinks it's play time, she'll smile and bounce which is adorable but we want/need her to sleep. Idk what to do.. is this normal? Have your babies started to wake up more?

It’s normal. Babies go through sleep regressions pretty often and it could be possible she’s cutting a tooth as well. Is there a reason you’re against the rice in her bottles? Personally that’s the only thing that got my son from 3-4 wakes a night to now only 1-2. I only do rice in his bedtime bottle & one overnight bottle. But when he’s teething he wakes up a lot more + we just went through a little sleep regression. How many times a day are you offering purees? I’m doing 2-3 times a day and definitely notice he sleeps better the days he eats more!

We give organic grass fed unsalted butter with dinner and our baby sleeps all night. It’s rich in vitamins and fats. Idk our pediatrician suggested it as an alternative to the rice stuff and said it actually has better nutrition. I guess the fats in it help with the sugars getting low and wanting a feed at night. Idk she said it’s not like proven and just something she used to give her baby and he slept all night

Mine has stopped a few days ago- when he had more feedings he was teething and having a growth spurt! Sending love and hugs💞💞

Our baby is 8 months and we mix strawberries into her last bottle of the night.
Lazy morning we do the baby cereal with strawberries already in it and feed with the Y nipple. If it’s the CORRECT consistency then it is actually recommended in the bottle as it’s pure liquid.
She sleeps from 9pm till 7am. We do another bottle then and sleeps again until 12pm.
Our doctor said don’t do Tylenol. It actually doesn’t help them sleep at all it’s just a pain reliever so if there’s no pain you’re just giving your baby unnecessary meds. If it’s specifically teething then use teething pain relief.
