I have no idea how much a nanny costs, but if I were to have a second baby, I think I’d have no choice but to hire one. I’d need to return to work fairly quickly, and I’d prefer the baby to be cared for at home. After my first baby, I started my own business, and this time I wouldn’t be able to take as much time off as I did before. That said, I wouldn’t feel comfortable putting a second baby into nursery until at least a year old.
Has anyone else been in a similar situation?
What does your nanny help with? What time do they arrive and what time do they clock off? Also any tips on where to find one? I’m super new to this and need pointing in the right direction (UK)

Nannies are pretty much flexible and you would just need to find one with the calendar that suits yours. Some nannies only work part time or with two different families for example. The price will depend on the location with London being the most expensive- probably around 15-20ph.
Nanny share would be cheaper but more difficult to find with flexibility. You can try to find a nanny on the bubble childcare app which is super easy as you don’t need to handle any paper work or just use nanny agencies. You can pm me if you need more info, happy to help :)
