Nursery fees

We use 22 hours (30 hr spread over the year) and pay an extra 3 hours and its costs us just around £120-£140 a month, with food. We provide nappies wipes cream x

I currently work 4 days a week, so I would pay 1 day, per child.

For each week I would pay £196 (for both) so I could work that fourth day.

My youngest does 30h a week, and after tax free childcare we pay about £270 a month.

We use 35 hours and it’s about £350 a month with the funding and tax free childcare x

There's so many variables, it's impossible to get a real idea of what the cost will be. The best idea would be to speak to your local nursery. Some charge extra consumables fees, some don't, some let you use 10 funded hours a day, some you can only just between 9am and 3pm, it's so different everywhere

Hackney nurseries charge £800 on top of the 30 hours for "food and additional costs". Count yourselves lucky girls!
