Kids tablet

I’ve got Amazon fires and they don’t have YouTube as an app but they call it web videos. Not as user friendly as YouTube kids and it just seems to play the same videos x

We have the kids honor tablet. Has parental restrictions and also has YouTube and you can download any app you like. We downloaded netflix on it when we went on holiday and Disney +. Battery life also very good and it doesn't break the bank

A genuine comment here but if you want to get him away from screens why aren’t you getting him a present that will encourage him to be off screens? Also a bit unfair to him to get him a gift that you will have to restrict him from. X

Didn’t get my son one, my friend did get her son one and now and it’s impossible to take it off him. No judgment mama but if you want to decrease screen time stay away from tablets as he’ll likely want more screen time x

I personally wouldn’t buy one if you’re trying to get him away from screens but that’s just me🤷🏼‍♀️
My son doesn’t have one, my sister keeps asking me if I’m getting him one (she has iPad teens😂), I have no interest right now or in the near future in getting him one but again that’s just me!

We haven’t brought our son a tablet but I have an iPad which he is occasionally allowed to play game/watch things on but I monitor what he uses and how long he is on it, we generally only allow him to go on it when we have a long journey and want him to stay awake as he will fall asleep playing with toys and eating or when we are out somewhere he can’t really run around as there is only so many toys/ activities I can take with us and he has a very short attention span😂 x
