Leaking nappies

Help! I don’t think I can cope with another blow out 🙈

My little boy is almost 6 months and weighs about 8kg

He was fine in size 3 pampers and Aldi nappies but they were getting tight so I tried sizing up to size 4

Since then I’ve started getting leaking nappies every day. If he does a poo while sat up it just leaks straight down his leg and he’s now leaking overnight too

I tried going back to size 3 but I’m getting the same

Also tried Morrisons size 4 which seemed better but little boy has just woken to a leaky nappy

I always pull the flaps out and make sure it’s on securely

Any advice?

My baby boy is also 6 months old and 8 kg. We are using huggies size 4 almost 1,5 month. No leaking

Have you tried sizing up in vests?

Have you tried Asda? Never had leak with my little girl in them!

I’ve noticed rascal nappies are the best nappies ! They hold brilliantly . There my go to bed time nappies

We found we loved Aldi nappies until size 3 and found they always leaked we then switched to size 4 Tesco and they been fine, Sainsbury nappies are also really good

I recommend little angels I went to Tesco bc it’s closer and she just leaks over night never had that issue with little angels

We get no leaks in the Lidl nappies, we really like them!

We had to change brand at around this time - no idea why but the change in brand worked.
Vest sizing up could also help.

We had constant blow outs with rascals and didn't buy them again. Over the last month we were very happy with Sainsbury's nappies. Once in a while we get pampers, also happy with them but they are too expensive.

But in general we use cloth nappies during daytime and disposable only when we are outside and for the night.
We always size up quickly, so they are not tight, that helped with blow outs so far. Our little one is 7.5 months old and is 7.9 kg.
We are using size 4 since he is 5.5 months old/ 6.5 kg, even though the nappies are for 8-14 kg.

I’ve only ever properly used Aldi nappies, found the other ones very thin! If he’s leaking while sat, I would say that the nappy might be too big?

Maybe try a 4+ as they are more absorbent, not sure if you are aware but the plush is the absorbent level xx

Eurgh I am in the exact same situation. We’ve loved Lidl up until size 4, same with Tesco! We’re now trying size 4+ from boots and Sainsbury’s

I recommend trying rascal & friends nappies, they’re absolutely brilliant for my boy. He’s 6 months and nearly 9kg🙈. Never have leaks in them and we’ve been using them for about 3/4 months now as he was allergic to pampers and leaked through Tesco. Sainsbury’s are always worth a try as they are our go to as well

We’ve been using Sainsbury’s since size 4, only had 1 poo leak in the last 2 months but it was a teeny bit out the side because he filled the nappy right up😅

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
