I’m travelling on my own with the baby, so I want to carry as less as possible.
Does anyone know what the gatwick north boots is like for baby snacks and formula? (I know you can preorder and take it through security)
Also, any tips welcome... I have a fold down buggy, and baby carrier for getting on the plane. New toys for the flight, dummy, bottle and a chew.
Anything that made your life easier 😊

There is a parent and kids security queue but last time I was there the queue was enormous! You can pay a bit extra for the fast track queue which was really quick. If you are paying for airport parking you can get it discounted too.
I know lots of people say to get on last with a baby but if you are taking the buggy on the plane with you and want to guarantee getting it on I would recommend boarding earlier.
And snacks…melty sticks are a godsend!

I always board first. You’ve got time to get your seat, put baby down, get your pram and bag stowed, put essentials in the seat back and just sit and relax before you are being shoved along the aisle by the impatient crowd.
Tbh there’s not much selection at the boots in Gatwick or Heathrow. Just a thin shelf in the corner. Take it with you tbh to avoid disappointment. Hang the baby bag on the pram, let security know it’s full of baby supplies and go with the flow. I went solo through Heathrow on Thursday with a baby and a toddler and the security staff really are nice and helpful to solo parents.
My boy didn’t have any toys on the plane, slept 6 straight hours wrapped in his blanket from home on my lap. The planes are white noise machines and knock them out at this age tbh.
Pack calpol satchets! Amazing for mid air pressure niggles, teething, keeping them comfortable (flight attendant trick). Don’t use boiling water from onboard, take your own in a flask.

Thank you so much, I can’t tell you how helpful all that is. I’m stressed 😅 you’ve made it logical in my mind x
I'm due in January and my husband and I are trying to figure out what to name her. We want to do something unique because we both have super common names. Any suggestions?

My nearly 6 month old can roll onto his tummy when laying on his back. Only to his left side. Can't do the right side and doesnt roll from tummy to back. He doesn't sit up yet either. Is other people babies at this sort of stage? I see so many rolling both ways, wanting to get to crawl position, sitting up, holding own bottles even weaning already. Are they all advance and mine is normal or mine slightly behind?

After having it done I experienced cramping and slight cramping today. I had some brown bleeding after the sweep then today I woke up this morning to this. Is this ok?
