Mam teats to lansinoh

Has anyone switched from Mam to Lansinoh teats? If so what size lansinoh did you use? My little one is currently using size 1 mam tears but am looking to also switch to anti reflux formula so wondered what lansinoh teat size would be good for the thicker formula? I know every baby is different but I just want to get some opinions!

We switched as our little one went onto kendamil comfort and it wouldn't go through the mam teats🤣he also suffered badly with colic and silent reflux. switched to the natural wave S 1+ and he seems absolutely fine on them they do 3+ month ones but he still seems fine on the 1+ still I will say however the lansinoh teats would leak while using the mam bottles so we did eventually move to the lansinoh bottles and they're so much better in my opinion. it's so much easier washing up 4 parts rather than the million that come with mam. We also found his colic symptoms and reflux improved almost instantly- not sure if that's coincidence but I've also heard other mums say the same x

We use Lansinoh teats and bottles, started with S flow teats and then switched to M when he turned 3 months (kept S at night for a couple days until he got used to it in his sleepy state). We don’t use thickened formula though so not sure about that, but his latch is so much better, and cleaner - no more dribbles while drinking, rarely ever any clicking, and easier to burp.

I did have a chat with a tongue tie specialist (NHS) on Tuesday who said they don’t advise parents to change to M flow, and just stick with S, as it helps baby to keep developing their sucking. So it might be worth considering a check in with a feeding team, if you have any other feeding issues.

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.

Breastfeeding

Does it ever feel better? The actual feeding part of it is going really well and baby boy is growing so well. I’m struggling with how my boobs feel day to day - it’s really getting me down most days. The let downs make me feel awful and sounds silly but, I am also really missing not wearing a bra! 9 weeks postpartum and still getting fairly engorged, even with comfort pumping.

Any advice or just shared stories would help. I’m so torn between carrying on because I enjoy the feeding side of it or switching to formula.

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?
