In movies when adults reach a certain age or level of sophistication they always kiss to greet eachother or to celebrate or say goodbye. I know it’s common in other countries too but here in the states I never see it in any of my friend groups. I kind of wish people did and were more loveydovey as a society.

Like a kiss on the cheek? It’s common in my country to greet and say goodbye to everyone this way.

Yeah I’m from the US and a bunch of my friends and I give cheek kisses

It's 3 kisses in The Netherlands 😆 on alternating cheeks. Kinda glad it's not a thing in Scotland. You don't realise how odd a certain custom is until you move away. We generally give friends and family a hug in Scotland.

I'm in England and it depends on the friend. Some do, some don't.

Oh!! I’m so sorry I thought you meant a kiss straight on the mouth and I was like “nuh uh absolutely not for me” but cheek kisses? Yes! Of course! I’m from Florida and it’s really common in the area I’m from.

Air/cheek kiss yes absolutely I greet my sisters and friends that way. (And esp goodbyes) Friends I haven’t seen for a couple months we do a long 5sec hug like OMG I missed you girl haven’t seen you in ages! But like if I saw her recently and again, we cheek kiss as standard. I have this French guy friend at dance that actually double kisses me on the cheek 😂 like muah muah both cheeks… he caught me off guard the couple times I saw him after we met, I wasn’t used to it. If I’m standing washing dishes and my sisters walk in first thing they do before they sit is kiss me hello on the cheek

Depends on the person but cheek kisses yeah
