What’s the chances of an accidental pregnancy here? I’ve been on the degesterol pill since June, however I started a new job 14th November and since then I’ve forgotten to take my pill or took it later in the day / night (I’m blaming the super early starts for forgetting) and now for 4 days straight I’ve had constant cramps in my lower lower back and front, feels like I’m about to have a huge period but I don’t have periods on the pill, I was on the injection for just over a year before this as well (youngest is 18 months old) I did have very very very light spotting on Thursday barely visible but was a pink colour. I’m worried I’ve messed up by forgetting it / taking it late 😩 I can’t even remember the days I have took it or haven’t to be fair. I don’t realise until I’m in that certain cupboard and go 💩 my pill! I’m unsure of dates that we have had sex in the last couple of weeks but it’s a few times a week and I know sperm can live inside the body for a few days so I’ve been really panicking

If you are not consistent with taking your birth control then it’s not going to be as affective and can result in a pregnancy best to do a pregnacy test and see if you are not pregnant it would be easy to set an alarm on your phone for the same time every day for you to take your pill that way you won’t forget

I am the product of a woman who also was not great at taking her birth control pills🙋🏻♀️
On a side note, I take medication daily and I’m AWFUL at remembering to take it so I keep an alarm on that goes off everyday at the same time, at a time I know for a fact I won’t be busy doing something, so I can remember every day to take them! If you aren’t pregnant maybe you could implement a routine like that. Best of luck to you girl!

If you are not consistent then you are likely to get pregnant. Set a reminder on your phone for a particular time everyday
