2nd baby

Hello

I'm 30 weeks pregnant and this is my 2nd boy. My boys are so sore today! My colostrum is here as it leaks abit. I know I'm not suppose to express but I'm so tempted too!

Isit normal for it to come in this early... 1st I didn't have much!

I started leaking at 24ish weeks from memory, it was just clear and watery, not the “liquid gold” people talk about. It’s been intermittent since and was told not to collect anything until about 2 weeks before I’m due to give birth. Perhaps collecting too early stops you from harvesting near the time?

You release oxytocin when you express, same as breastfeeding which can cause the uterus to contract and there's a small chance of preterm labour, which is why the advice is to not express until 38 weeks. Mine have just this week started to hurt quite bad which is fantastic considering im still breastfeeding my 20 month old.

My midwife gave me the go ahead at 36 weeks last pregnancy and gave me syringes and it didn’t induce labour so maybe get confirmation from yours around then. Mine just feel supperrrr heavy but not leaking yet

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !

Almost 37 weeks + told to do another growth scan

I just had my second to last doctor’s appointment this morning, and my OB told me she wants me to do another growth scan because my belly is measuring small. She says it’s probably just because I’m a smaller woman, but they like to be safe. It’s hard to hear though, since I just did one a couple months ago.

I did this with my firstborn around this time of pregnancy, so I do think I just carry smaller (even though I don’t feel like I look “small” at all). My first baby was 6lbs 15oz when she was born at 41 weeks + 2 days. I’m having this baby at 39 weeks on April 7. I hope she’s still at least 6lbs.

Anyone have any stories similar to this?
