Is anyone else finding it hard to juggle what everyone wants to buy baby for birthday and Christmas? I feel like I just keep saying no to my MIL on everything but it’s because it’s been bought or someone else asked months ago (and yes she has a list of what other people have bought).
My other half told me this morning I’m being a nag about it all but I honestly just don’t want him having multiples of stuff unnecessarily - not to mention the horrible feeling of ‘competing’ for the best present. Like if both sets of grandparents get him a train set and then he only plays with one of them, I just get so wracked with guilt 😭

They really don't need multiple of the same things, why don't you suggest things that he can play with when he's abit older that way he's not overwhelmed with toys and you can put some in the loft, or things for the garden for next year when the weather is nicer, a pool or garden games? We've opened a savings account for ours and both parents are more than happy to put their money in his savings account for him, he gets £50 off my parents and £50 off my partners parents for his birthday then christmas he gets £70 off my parents and £100 off my partners parents, he's got enough for his birthday so all the money for Xmas is going in his savings account. We have 2 children a 4 year old girl too and on Xmas day he will be happy playing with wrapping paper lol. He has more than enough toys I even have things in the loft for him

We just made an amazon wishlist and everyone has bought off that.
