I’m exclusively breastfeeding my nearly 3 weeks old baby and she has a rush on her cheeks - it comes and goes but doesn’t go away completely, doesn’t have it anywhere on her body. Does anyone follow a specific diet when breastfeeding or does anything about the rush? Online it seems they say it’s normal and will go away by itself and she doesn’t seem to be in pain or be bothered by it but it’s a quite a lot of pimples on one of her cheeks…

It is very common to get rashes as their bodies are adjusting to being outside the womb! Most likely newborn acne, my first had it. He was EBF and no need to change diet unless there was a specific allergy diagnosed by a professional ☺️

I recommend popping a bit of BM on her face as it’s like medicine and has cleared my baby’s acne/rashes in hours! Amazing what it can help x
